History

Trans World Technical Academy (TWTA), a department of Trans World Airlines (TWA) was established in 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri. TWA sold TWTA to the corporation in November, 2000. The school was renamed Aviation Institute of Maintenance and it became our fourth aviation school and our first school west of the Mississippi. In July 2007, the school relocated to accommodate the growing student population.
