Hi, I’m Patrick Mahan the Business Coordinator for the Chesapeake campus. As your academic advisor, I am here not just to advise you but to help you to meet your potential and become the best business person you can be.  The business program here is a fast paced and dynamic program that mirrors the business community.  You will learn from business persons with an average of over 20 years experience in both the public and private industries. The pace coupled with your daily commitments to your family and jobs may make study difficult.  As your advisor, I am your best advocate. I can arrange tutoring which is at no cost to you and am always willing to discuss any course of instruction.  Sometimes a different instructor can bring forth a better understanding of the material.  I look forward to meeting with you. My office hours vary based on the teaching schedule but I’m generally available from 12:30 PM until 6PM, Monday through Thursday and anytime Friday by appointment. My door is always open when I’m in my office so please feel free to come and see me.
