Hello, my name is Kathleen Waisanen and I am the Registrar, AKA Book Lady.

I am here to assist you in registering for the correct classes and attaining the right textbooks. I also maintain schedules, grades, attendance, transcripts, and other documents.  I work along with the coordinators to keep you updated on the curriculum plan progress and to make changes when necessary.

I am also responsible for student records and monitoring / changing student status in the student record.  I work with you during your academic career to ensure that you have books and are registered for each Term.

Night students that need to pick up books beyond my scheduled hours contact me at 757 549-2121 ext 342 to make arrangements to leave books at front desk or with an instructor or coordinator.

Student schedules are now given out at the start of a new mod/semester, Registration Day. All students must sign in with the Administration Building to get schedules for ability to attend classes.

Copies of student schedules are uploaded to Ambassador Bookstores so students can still order their books starting the fourth week of the mod.

Books should arrive within 2 business days.

To track the shipment of an order, go to Ambassador book site where books were ordered.  Check voucher number to see if shipped.  If yes click on tracking number (UPS) and it goes to UPS Store and it will track delivery of the books.

UPS normally delivers to Centura College between 10:30 am to 11:00 am daily.  Hours can vary

****** Students should pick up their books when they arrive to verify the books are correct and not damaged even if they don't need them until another mod. If books should need returning Ambassador only allows 21 days of the receipt on your voucher.

**Graduates**

Your graduation check list must be received by the Registrar's office in order to receive your diploma.

Diplomas are not available for pick up until a week after student graduates.

If you didn’t receive a check list please see your coordinator!
