Educational Objectives

In accordance with the school’s philosophy, Centura Institute is devoted to the following objectives:

• To motivate, educate, and develop students to their maximum potential while enrolled in their chosen field of study.

• To maintain all instruction in a job related environment to ensure graduates have the greatest potential for employment in the occupational fields for which they are trained.

• To offer dedicated and qualified instructors that provide the tools of learning which will enhance each student’s future success.

• To create an atmosphere for learning that is both personal and practical, while in a school that is friendly and informative.

• To establish high standards of education and training in order to maintain corporate satisfaction among the business community for the school’s graduates.

• To enable students to establish independence through successful employment in their chosen career field.

Students there will be no school on May 27th 2013 in observance of Memorial Day.
6/1/2013 12:00 PM   Hispanic Appreciation Day 
Join us on Saturday June 1st from 12pm-3pm for Hispanic Appreciation Day. There will be food, free health checks, Zumba and music by KQ103. Come out and join the fun.
6/25/2013 11:30 AM   Fifth Third Bank Student In-Service 
Fifth Third Bank will be on site June 25th  from 11:30a.m.-12:30p.m. for a Financial Awareness Workshop. See Mr. Harvey for more information.

Students there will be no school on JUly 4th 2013 in observance of Independance Day.
9/2/2013 8:00 AM   Labor Day/ Student Holiday 
Students there will be no school on September 2nd 2013 in observance of Labor Day
11/28/2013 8:00 AM   Thanksgiving/ Student Holiday 
There will be no school on November 28th in observance of Thanksgiving.
12/23/2013 12:00 PM   Winter Break 
Winter Break will be form December 23rd to December 30th 2013. Students will return to class on December 30th 2013.
